HOTEL AVISA DOWNTOWN, Morro Bay – Your ideal downtown stay

Staying at this hotel was an absolute pleasure! The ocean view rooms with private balconies offering stunning views of Morro Rock and the bay were a highlight, along with clean, comfortable accommodations and a fantastic complimentary breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. However, there were some issues with the service that impacted the overall experience.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious, close to the harbor, and decorated with taste. The service was warm and friendly, with staff always ready to help and make excellent restaurant suggestions. The location was fantastic, just blocks away from the Embarcadero and all the waterfront attractions. The dining experience, although slightly affected by current restrictions, was still enjoyable. Overall, a great value for money!

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were big and clean with two Queen Beds, but they smelled awful like a dog had stayed in the room for a while. The service was mostly nice and helpful, although they unlocked and opened my room door without warning. The location was awesome, being within a one block walk of the embarcadero shops & restaurants, but there were some issues with privacy. The dining experience was good, especially the variety of breakfast options. However, the offer to move to another hotel was not appropriate. Overall, a decent stay with a few drawbacks.
